Temp: Currently 75 degrees but plummeting as the day goes by with a cold front.
Humidity: 4 on the “Soup” scale. (1=light broth, 5=thick chowder)
Today’s Playlist: Radio Brent.
Conditions: Heavy rains coming in with the front. 44 degrees tonight.
Estimated Travel Time: 20 seconds (moving kinda slow).
Food: The last apple and banana. Time to re-up!
Coffee Level: 1/4 Tank

On the Workbench…

The time has come. We are two weeks from Christmas and my clipboard is full. I cannot promise creation and shipment for holiday delivery, so I have put my Etsy shop on “Vacation Mode” which means it is temporarily unable to show my listings or take new orders.

All current orders will be carved and shipped by the 16th.

Next Tuesday will begin our short vacation until the 1st of January, when I will re-open my Etsy shop. Time to catch up with friends and family, rehab and restock the workshop, catch-up on house chores and heal my digits.

It is also an opportunity to consider how we will approach 2025. With the new regime taking over, there are likely many unforeseen challenges coming, doing business online and existing as we have. Staying adaptive and flexible has worked for us in the past, protecting essentials and looking for new opportunities.

Businesswise, there are new ideas I want to putter around with, improving my work, Etsy store and exploring new avenues on this blog. I enjoy receiving your ideas and suggestions. So, feel free to email me (scott@dustynewt.com) or comment below.

Thanks for understanding my short pieces here these past few weeks. I hope to spend more time with it after next week.
