Letter Class: Two Name Keychains

Today I carve two Walnut Wood Name Keychains to be shipped to Mount Sterling, OH.

I start with a billet of 1/2” inch Walnut wood, about 8” inches long.

Here is a finished, “spoiler” pic…

The following video is in “real” time (8:08 minutes). For potential name carvers out there, it gives raw and unedited idea of what it takes to produce a couple of my name keychains on a Hegner scroll saw.

I feel that video is the best way to describe my process, but I am a far shot from “videographer”. I do apologize for the shoulder/arm view while drilling holes.

Give it a go at home and shoot me back pics of your efforts or any questions or comments you may have (below).
